This is so true of the visual and kinesthetic learner, who encompass the majority of our population. Hands on activities are remembered more and create an understanding of the what, why, and how to learned in the activity/experience. It's engaging and offers reflection. I agree with this proverb and think of it when doing my weekly lesson plans. Thanks for sharing.
